It really is a treat to be thrown back into my younger years with these books. I imagine these books are a hit with the younger crowd, but they were great for me as well. This whole series is a really amazing read I found. Hallie has a great story and I found myself captivated form the start. I'm sure anyone who gives it a chance will feel the same way!
This really is a bargain price for 4 Excellent titles in one purchase, I found them a really good read and very uplifting.
I would say its definitely suitable for all ages and would work well especially for book groups as their is much to discuss.
Really hope their will be more to come from this series and Author and will be looking out for this.
Buy this book. Read it. You will be laughing hysterically through each page. And yet at the same time you will feel a mix of emotions as you follow the journey of Hallie Palmers life. Love, Lost, Sadness, Happiness, Selfishness, Caring, Giving, and Taking. Hallie is just like anyone you'd meet on the street. Which I think helps people connect with her more. They can be like "I've done that" or "That is something I would do too."
Having each book in the same location is great because you don't have to put the book down to start the next one. Just flip the page and continue on the journey.
A very recommended book for anyone that wants a story to lighten their day. Each book is fairly long but is an easy read. I loved it.
I shared this series with my teenage stepdaughter and we read the books together. Hallie Palmer is among one of our favorite characters and the stories are vivid enough to keep both of our attention. Because it follows her as she grows up, I find them to have sort of a 'coming of age' story behind them. And I really liked that. Finding a book that both a teenager and her mother (or aunt or grandmother) can enjoy can be a bit hard. But Hallie Palmer is a beautiful series that keeps people of all ages intrigued and reading. It was a bit long, but so so hard to put down. It was beautifully written and each word has been thoughtfully put into place. I enjoyed reading these stories so much.

Writing Style Very professional- easy to read yet wonderfully entertaining.
Storytline Captivating. The farther your read the deeper you are sucked into the pages.
Characters Relatable and loveable. You can't help but get emotionally attached to them.
All in all, hands down one of my favorite 'mother daughter' duo reads. I thoroughly enjoyed it- as did she.
I was so thrilled to find this bundled for the ! I had read the first two in the series a while ago and was glad to be able to re-read them and finish the series. The books are a well-written and very funny coming-of-age story about Hallie Palmer, the oldest daughter in a family of 10 children. Well worth reading.
I loved this series, this coming-of-age story of Hallie Palmer is well written. The story is humerous and sad, sometimes in the same paragraph or sentence. I could not put it down. I rarely buy a book but this series is going in my library because I know I will want to read it again some day.
